A Memorandum of Understanding is published for each review. Each contains copies of the Letter of Intent to the EU Authorities, the updated Memorandum of Understanding on Specific Economic Policy Conditionality, the Letter of Intent to the IMF, the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policy and the Technical Memorandum of Understanding.
Joint EC/IMF/ECB missions visited Dublin in April 2011 (when the first and second reviews were taken together), July 2011, October 2011, January 2012 and April 2012 to conduct reviews of the economic adjustment programme which was agreed in November 2010. The missions review progress to date, discuss policy challenges ahead and prepare updated specifications of the program conditionality for future reviews.
Following each review mission both the EU Commission and the IMF prepare Staff Reports. These reports provide a detailed assessment of compliance and summarise the main findings of the mission. They are used to support the findings of the review mission, and agreement by the EU and IMF that each review has been completed.
