Eoghan Murphy announces speakers for 2017 European Financial Forum

Today (Monday 31-Oct-2017) Eoghan Murphy TD, Minister for Financial Services formally announced the initial speaker line-up and themes for next January’s European Financial Forum (EFF 2017).
Earlier today the Government agreed, on the recommendation of the Minister for Finance, Mr Michael Noonan T.D., to make a public declaration of interest in Ireland becoming the location for the offices of the European Banking Authority.

NTMA Bond auction of €1 Billion shows continued low cost market access
Today, the National Treasury Management Agency held a scheduled bond auction of €1 Billion in 10 year bonds. Total bids received today amounted to €2.010 billion which was twice the amount on offer. The bonds were sold at a yield of 0.495%.
