The Bill provides for the reduction in the standard rate of income tax from 26% to 24% announced in the Budget. (This reduction to 24% also applies to the standard rate of Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT), Professional Services Withholding Tax and to collective investment vehicles and life assurance funds.)
