Consultation on the General Scheme of the Credit Union Bill 2012
 
 
Further to the publication of the General Scheme of the Credit Union Bill 2012, the Minister for Finance, Mr Michael Noonan, T.D., is now inviting submissions from interested parties. The General Scheme reflects the recommendations made by the Commission on Credit Unions in its Report published on 18 April 2012. This consultation will help inform the development of the legislation. The deadline for receipt of submissions is Friday, 10 August 2012. The General Scheme of the Credit Union Bill 2012 can be viewed here.
